Getting there & safety

🧭

Access

10-min walk. An informal roadside pullout area near the trailhead to the beach provides space for approximately six to eight vehicles. There is no paved lot or signage marking the spot. A standard car can reach the parking area without difficulty along the paved coast road. Finding a space on weekends may require arriving early.

⚠️

Swim smart

The walk to the sea caves requires crossing over wet, algae-covered rocks that are extremely slippery even with proper footwear. Waves can surge unexpectedly near the point and knock you off balance on the rocks. Never turn your back on the ocean when near the waterline. Swimming is manageable in calm summer conditions but becomes risky during winter swells when currents strengthen. No lifeguards patrol this area.
